First Aid

Silas had a chance to learn first aid.

I hope he never needs to use this on me!

They learned how to use bandages.

I think Silas received more bandages then he applied.

He must have done something right.

Another Megablocks Bell Tower

I think this is one of Silas' most favorite things to build with Megablocks.

I sure do love this little guy!

Silas went on to build his own tower next to this one.

Featherdale Wildlife Park

Another fun trip to Featherdale Wildlife Park

It is a nature reserve, not a zoo.

So there are often new animals every time we go.

Leonardo Da Vinci Bridge

Silas was learning about the Leonardo Da Vinci Bridge.  So, we built one!

Here is a video.

Remember, there are no nails in this bridge.

It is race day.

It was easy to see that Silas' rubbish truck was the coolest looking vehicle, but not necessarily the fastest.

 

Building Awana Race Car (Truck)

For AWANA, Silas was asked to build a car for racing.

Silas decided he wanted a rubbish truck instead.

There was a bit of cutting, sanding and the use of a dremel.

Time for some paint.

Roller Coaster

I believe this was Silas' first roller coaster ride.

I don't know if he was nervous or excited.

Once it got started, he was just having fun.
