There are very few places Silas can eat due to his allergies.

In the US, he was able to eat at Red Robin, a burger place.

Ornament Exchange in JUNE!

After we made it up to Colorado, our friends decided

to honour one of Tina's favourate Christmas traditions, an Ornament Exchange.

It was a lot of fun, even if out of season.

Trip To New Mexico

On this trip, we visited Colorado, New Mexico and Texas.

Mission Trail

While in El Paso, we had to take the Mission Trail.

Lots of education opportunities.

Cattleman's Steak House

For Oma's birthday, she wanted to go to the Cattleman's Steak House.

It is a long drive from El Paso, but the food is wonderful.

Out in the back they have their own zoo!

From rabbits to dear, they had quite a collection of animals.

Too bad the snakes were hibernating!

They also had lots of historic equipment that used to be used on the ranch.

Perhaps he was cold?

 

Mall AnimalCycle

Silas had the privilege of riding an elephant at the mall today.

Here with Aunt Fran and Oma.

He was very careful not to trample over the shoppers.

Oma preferred to run along side rather than hopping on.
