Germ Free Eskimo

Mom has managed to protect Silas from both the shopping cart germs AND cold weather!


Yes, we are INSIDE, but we will be going through the frozen food section.

 

Rock Melon / cantaloupe

Using a special "mesh bag," we gave Silas his first rock melon (cantaloupe).  I think he likes it!!!

Puffs

Silas loves his "Puffs".


Of course, they are organic!

Tiliqua Rugosa

The Tiliqua Rugosa, also known as the two-headed lizard is native to Western Australia


Silas thinks he's cool.

Momma will definitely be disinfecting Silas' hands after this!

Pat a Wallaby

This little wallaby was close enough for Silas to get a pat ("to pet," for those in the US).


At first, Tina had to give him some help.

 

He was very interested in this one.

Feeding The Roos

We picked up some food for the kangaroos.
 

It would seem Silas wanted to eat it instead and not share!

 

Mum helps out but Silas is more interested in the pigeons.

While at the zoo, it was funny when people were more interested in looking at Silas than the animals!

Featherdale

We took Silas to a local zoo.
There was a cute cut-out board that Silas seemed to enjoy.

The pig is cuter!

Not to be out done, a local goat decided to pretend to be a pig too!!!

 

Thongs (flip-flops)

Silas is sporting his new thongs (flip-flops for our American family).


At first he didn't know what to think about them.

Silas, stop looking at the camera and walk!

Mum tries to lean him forward.  Perhaps we shouldn't do this with all those dangerous electrical cables on the floor!

I ♥ Dad

One great thing about young kids is that you can put whatever clothing on them you want and they never complain. This is my favourite shirt for Silas!

We also had a chance to try on his new sunnies (sun glasses).

He looks cool but I don't think he likes them.

 

Feeding the Ducks at Lake Parramatta

Today we took Silas out to Lake Parramatta to feed the ducks.

Silas!!! The ducks are the other direction!!!


Good job Silas.  Mama!!! The ducks are the other direction!!!

I think Silas was pretty tired and not very interested in ducks.

Aeroplanes were much more interesting.

But it was still a great time outdoors with the munchkin.
