Helping to Built the Spice Rack

Dad's project this week was a spice rack on the back of the pantry door.

Silas watched carefully.

Used to power tools when possible.

And did pretty well at avoiding hitting daddy's fingers with the hammer.

After all that moving, it was time to rest.

Moving House

Moving into our new house, Silas tried to help.

And he often just got bored.

Megablocks

A common sight on Saturday mornings is now papa and Silas building with MegaBlocks.

Usually this involves dad building and Silas jumping on dad's back.

Ground School

After buying these interesting torches (flash lights), mum had an idea to teach Silas a new trick: directing aeroplanes into the terminal.

Science Project

Mum found a cool science project for Silas.

Digger

Silas LOVES construction, so when Mum saw this digger toy....

He loves it.

Calvary Camp

Our church had a camp weekend and Silas really enjoyed himself.

He had fun with the other kids.

The bonfire was great.

We even had someone do a fire dance show.

Great fun.

Icecream

With Silas' allergies, we have to be careful with treats.

Here we made some home-made icecream.

I think he likes it!

I was thankful I didn't get too wet after Silas tried to help me wash the cars!

Bike 2.0 - Improved

Silas Bike Ride

Tina picked up this little bike at an thrift store.

Little did we know that Silas would be too big for it on day 1!!!

Since then, we've picked up another bike.
