Silas' Trike

Silas got a new trike.
It's time to take it out for a test run

He looks ready.

All his toys are packed and ready to go.

Wow this is easy!  I don't even have to pedal.

Ok, this hill is a bit steep.  I'm getting nervous!!!
Time to bite my nails.

In the Pool

There was a nice kiddy pool at the hotel.

We wanted Silas to feel comfortable in his Baby Float.
What a life!

He LOVES the water!

He LOVES to play.

He LOVES to splash.

And Momma LOVES him!

Silas on the Beach

This was Silas' first trip to the beach. (Yes, I'm still blogging Hawaii!)

Having fun with Oma, Mum and Aunt Linda.

Aunt Fran must have told Silas a joke.

Time to go into the water...  I don't think Silas is too happy about that.

But after a little bit of time with Daddy, he was fine.

It was a beautiful day.

Big Red Car

We found a nice big red car for Silas to play in.

He seems to already know what to do.

I think he's having fun.

Yes... definitely having fun.

Now he looks like a race car driver!

Dad gets a chance to show him how it's done.

First French Fry

Silas, do you want baby food or a French fry?

No, no... in your mouth, not up your nose!

Now you've got it.

I think he likes it.

It may take all day to gum these things.

Car Seat Switch

It was time to switch Silas from rear-facing to front-facing car seat.
He is growing up way too fast.

Germ Free Eskimo

Mom has managed to protect Silas from both the shopping cart germs AND cold weather!

Yes, we are INSIDE, but we will be going through the frozen food section.

Rock Melon / cantaloupe

Using a special "mesh bag," we gave Silas his first rock melon (cantaloupe).  I think he likes it!!!

Tiliqua Rugosa

The Tiliqua Rugosa, also known as the two-headed lizard is native to Western Australia

Silas thinks he's cool.

Momma will definitely be disinfecting Silas' hands after this!

Hey, he isn't nearly as soft as the wallaby!

Pat a Wallaby

This little wallaby was close enough for Silas to get a pat ("to pet," for those in the US).

At first, Tina had to give him some help.

He was very interested in this one.

Feeding The Roos

We picked up some food for the kangaroos.

It would seem Silas wanted to eat it instead and not share!

Mum helps out but Silas is more interested in the pigeons.
