Mustache

Sometimes, while eating, Silas just doesn't want to open his mouth.

Daddy decided to enjoy this moment with some of Silas' yoghurt!!!

If eyes could kill...

Build a Bear (Dinosaur)

We took Silas to the Build-A-Bear shop to get a dinosaur.

He watched intently as the dino was being stuffed.

Silas did a great job picking out a heart.

Pretty heart.

No, no, no! Don't eat it!

They have a nice ritual where we rub the heart to get it pumping.

Put it over the eyes, ears and nose to give the dinosaur life.

We promise to love our dino.

Place the heart inside of him.

Yeah!  That was fun!

Here is Silasauras with his birth certificate.

A Sad Day

Doesn't Silas look sad?

Mommy just told him the bad news.

Your Dallas Cowboys' outfit is too small!

Your belly is showing.

Poor guy is almost as sad as his Daddy.

Front Pack

I enjoy putting Silas in the front pack.
This lets me hold him without all the weight on my arms.
I couldn't resist when I saw this tiger stuffed animal
in the market holding a baby tiger in a similar way!

Druggie Look

This is how Silas normally looks as he eats.

But once we offer him some milk....

He gets this druggie look in his eyes.  I guess he is still addicted to milk!

Sippy Cup

Here Silas tries to use a sippy cup.

This is pretty easy.  Mmmmm, cool water.

I find it difficult to drink while mommy is snapping photos.

I'm biting down, but nothing is coming out.

Hmm, this is more complex then I originally thought.

Ohhhhhhhh that's cold!!!

Hehehe.  Daddy, my nappy is not the only thing wet anymore.

Toothy-Pegs

Silas is learning how to eat with his hands.
This is an important skill to learn towards enjoying a juicy hamburger!
To get there, he is starting with these teething rusks, aka toothy-pegs.

He enjoys rubbing them on his gums.

I guess they must taste ok too.

The negative side effect of this is a huge slobber puddle that is worse than a dog with peanut butter placed on the roof of their mouth.
(No, I've never done that to our family dog!
And we aren't supposed to give Silas peanut butter yet. :) )

Do-rag or is it Do-ily-rag?

Sometimes I come across photos I haven't seen before.

Like this one with Silas wearing a doily on his head!

Poor guy. Daddy needs to keep a closer eye on him.
