Moving Rubbish Bins

One of Silas' Favourite pastimes.

Moving rubbish bins from one part of our driveway to another.

Very Slowly Helping With Weeds

At this age, Silas usually helps by making everything take longer.

Blocks

This has become a common Saturday morning event for Silas and Papa.

We build huge buildings with mega-blocks.

Each week I see Silas being more and more creative.

And, it's pretty fun for Papa too.

Rain

Mum loves to keep Silas entertained.

Today we are making rain.

The idea is simple enough.

Glass of water.

Shaving cream.

Coloured water in a dropper.

Once the 'cloud' gets too full, it rains.

We are starting to see some odd cloud formations already.

Silas is captivated.

And having lots of fun.

And making a big mess!

Hopscotch

Here in Australia they call a fire man a firee or fire-ie.

Silas looks like he would be a good one.

He likes the megaphone.

Tina taught him to yell "Everyone out of the building!"

Silas, now that you've gotten everyone out, time to put out the fire.

Well done.  Now he has his fire hose.

He even knows 

He is so cute, he might start more fires than he puts out.

Climbing a Tree

I guess it was just a matter of time until Silas wanted to climb our tree.

He is doing too well.

Perhaps you can come down now.

Shake and Eat - Ice Cream

Tina found a fun way to make ice cream.

First, get some ice.

Next... get some cream. (This sounds so simple)
