Crocodile Dundee

Right next to the Sydney Aquarium is a wax museum. Silas slept through most of it, but he woke up in time for this crocodile.



Don't worry, this croc is perfectly safe.

But perhaps it is a bad idea to teach Silas he can ride on one!

Here is Dundee in the background.  Silas just sticks out his tongue at him.

 

Sydney Aquarium

We took Silas to the Sydney Aquarium.


I think he likes the fish.

I don't think you could have paid me enough money to do this type of thing before Silas came along!

I love seeing mum teaching Silas.  How beautiful.

Happy day at the aquarium.  Silas.... smile!

 

Walking With Silas on Rubbish Bin Day

We take Silas for walks right after the rubbish has been collected because he loves to play with bins.

Growing TOOO Fast

A few days after Silas was born, I blogged this photo under the title "Room To Grow."



Just under two years later, I'm worried about getting a new bed!!!
Silas, you are growing up WAY too fast.

 

In the Cabinet

Guitars

Silas just loves guitars. He found this one in an op-shop.
It doesn't work, but that doesn't matter. It's still a prize possession.

I don't think Silas knows what to think.

Papa's New Guitar

Silas and Momma bought Papa a new guitar for his birthday



Silas.... do you want to play the guitar?

Nope... I just want to play with the guitar case.

Now THIS is fun!

 

Silas' Uke

For Eden's birthday (Yes, I'm still blogging July) Silas got a Uke.


He just loves it.

He even gives himself applause after each song.

He sings along too (or is that a yawn?).

Sometimes he sings the blues.

Silas and his Uke are inseparable.

I think he is pretending it is a cello.

 

Silas on His Zebra

Silas got a "ride on" zebra.


It took quite a while to get him to even sit on it.

The dials are cool!

He was easily distracted.

He's not the least bit interested in moving from this spot.
I suspect that will change soon and we'll have a little Speedy Gonzales on our hands.

Castle Tent

Momma picked up this nice tent that looks like a castle for Silas.
Daddy wants to play in the tent too, but he doesn't really fit.


I think Silas likes the company.  :D

Chipmunks

At the shopping centre, there is a playground for little ones called Chipmunks.


Silas loves to play there.

Daddy loves to take him down the slide.

Mum has fun too!

What a great place.

Where was chipmunks when I was growing up?  I had to play with rocks!
