Silas loves to be clean! Here he is right after being changed.
Papa loves for Silas to be clean!
Too bad I haven't yet figured out a way to KEEP him clean!

Mama with Silas

Tina has pointed out how few photos we have with her and Silas.
I pointed out that most of the time Tina was feeding Silas and that would lead to inappropriate photos!
I found a few where Tina has her shirt on! Yeah.

Kiddie Jail

Here is Silas sleeping in his jail cell. I'm just playing around with the camera and some special FX! Pretty cool.

Actually, I was a bit embarrassed about the pink sheets. These were ones we had originally bought for Eden, but Silas is man enough to sleep on them!

Australia Day

Today was Australia Day. For those in the US, it is similar to the 4th of July. We wanted to celebrate it because Silas is an Australian citizen. We found this cute shirt for him to wear that says "Australian Made Baby."

Here are a few more shots of him in his cute shirt and hat.

Tina and I are in our Aussie hats.

Happy Aussie Day!!!

We went for a walk where we found people playing cricket, barbecuing and having parties. Unfortunately, one of our neighbours was so drunk, he was standing in the street naked! So glad Silas was asleep and missed that scene.

Some Cute Photos as Joshua Holds Silas

I was free to wield the camera and catch a few cute shots as Joshua held Silas.
He's pretty cute.

Extreme Closeup

I like doing extreme closeup photos of Silas.
Poor munchkin has some baby acne that should go away in a few months.

I think he is getting tired of the camera in his face all the time!

Yep. Ok Silas... I'll put the camera down now.

3 Weeks

Celebrating three weeks!

Since Silas can't have cake yet, we made a little three 'candle' cake from bottles and nappies.  Silas seems unimpressed.  His parents are sad to see him grow up so fast!

No Time to Blog

I'm not getting much work done in my office when Silas is awake.  No time to blog!

That's it.  Are you sleepy yet?

Silasaurus

Silas' room is decorated with dinosaurs. You can see them on his bed sheets in this photo.

When we told our friends, Pete and Fi about it, they nick-named him "Silasaurus." How cute!

Pete, Silasaurus and Fi

Here he is doing what he does best... looking adorable.

First Day Back at Work

Today was my first day back to work. Silas was holding onto my leg! "Please don't go daddy!"
Tina had to tear him off as he cried.
I guess Silas will miss his papa. Papa will miss Silas too.

Just Being Cute Again

He must be growing tired of seeing the camera in his face all the time.
But he is just so cute!

He says, "Excuse me" when he burps.

And he has almost figured out how to remove the boxing gloves.

Football (Gridiron) Fan?

Tina let me pick out the colors of the pram. I picked blue and silver. She didn't realize the reason was so I could start turning Silas into a Dallas Cowboy fan!

Go Cowboys!!!

Little did I know that Tina had already made changes to the pram.

Oh no! Denver Broncos?

Oh well, I guess Silas will have to have two favorite teams.

The Many Sleep Positions of Silas

Silas is finding it easy to sleep just about anywhere and in any position.

In the arms.
On the lap
Or the unconventional football hold.

Oma Enjoys Some Play Time

Silas' Oma (Grandmother) enjoys play time. You'd think she loves this little fellow.

Teaching Silas

Papa attempts to use his teaching skills to educate Silas on how the nighttime hours should progress.
Silas seems unresponsive and Mama has her doubts.
I'm convinced this will work. Time will tell.

Parent's Room

I always thought the parent's room was where parents could give good advice to their children and discipline them if necessary. Well, I was wrong.
It is just a place to change nappies! Ignorance was bliss.

Tummy Time

Funny how times change. Years ago, parents were encouraged to allow their babies to sleep on their tummy. Now, this is a no-no. We are to have them sleep on their backs. However, some tummy time is good because it helps them build up their neck muscles.

Here Silas is having a bit of tummy time.
Papa is watching closely and having some side time.
Mama thinks this is funny so she takes a photo.

While we're at it, I thought it would be a good time to teach him how to walk.
Ten days, that should be plenty old enough.
